Retain your independence at home
with a little help from your friends
We can provide a simple solution to help you maintain your independence and confidently stay in your own home.
We are a local service working together with New Progress Housing Association. With a Tunstall Lifeline, help can be with you at the press of a button. Developed with simplicity and ease of use in mind, a lightweight easy to press button, worn on a discreet cord around the neck or on a wristband, enables you to call for help from your home twenty four hours a day.
You will need two local contacts who are happy to be keyholders and will not mind being called in the unlikely event that you need help. You will also need a standard telephone socket with an electricity point nearby.
We have clients, both young and old, throughout South Lakeland and Barrow with a wide variety of needs. Some people are just getting older and want a bit of support, others are struggling with problems like dementia, heart problems or asthma. Many people who live alone feel happier knowing that help is always available, others need a temporary Lifeline on returning from hospital.
Whatever your problem, if you think an alarm would help please give us a call to discuss your needs. We can usually install one within a few days of your enquiry.
